Welcome to the Matthewismith Editor Trials.

This is your chance to show us how you think and how you edit. We’re not looking for someone who just knows how to cut videos. We’re looking for someone who can make strong decisions, move fast and edit in a way that matches our brand and overall tone.

Your job is simple:

Take the footage, use your judgment, and give us the strongest possible versions of the deliverable.

Please read everything carefully. You must submit your trial by July 6th.

The Deliverables:

1. Edit a short form ad

• Background: the video you will be working with is a lesson from our online course.

Your job is to make an ad using the footage provided.

Choose something to teach from the video and then progress to the call to action which invites the viewer to watch our free masterclass.

The pace, music and length of video is up to you.

Expectations:

• Export 9:16, minimum of 1080x1920 (4K not required)
